Director of Content Marketing at Vyond

Mark Rader has had a varied career in writing and content marketing. Mark began their career in 2001 as a Lecturer in English at Cornell University. From 2003-2007, they worked as a Freelance Profile Writer for Cornell Enterprise Magazine and Cornell Engineering Magazine. In 2007, they began working as an Editor/Writer for Publications International's Children's Electronic Media Department and as a Lecturer in Professional Writing and Freshman Writing at Northeastern University. From 2011-2014, they worked as a Senior Content Consultant/Copywriter at TransUnion. During this time, they wrote copy for healthcare, property management, and client services business units, including digital content for interactive microsites and websites, public-facing animated product videos and marketing emails. From 2014-2020, they worked as Director of Content Marketing and Creative Lead/Marketing Writer at Jellyvision. During this time, they wrote copy and provided art direction for ABM direct mail campaigns, 15+ eBooks, 150+ blog posts, 15+ case studies and customer testimonial videos, and sales one-sheeters. Mark also produced two monthly Marketo company newsletters and bimonthly Outreach sales sequences, and wrote magazine articles on behalf of company leadership that appeared in benefits and healthcare trade publications and places like Inc. and CNBC. From 2020-2022, they worked as Content Marketing Director at Wonderlic and is currently Director of Content Marketing at Vyond. In 2020, they were also represented by Dunow Carlson & Lerner as a Novelist. Mark is the author of the novel, The Wanting Life, which was selected as a Top 10 Debut by the American Booksellers Association, one of 20 recommended books for Great Group Reads' 2020 Book Club, and an honored book for 2021 by the Wisconsin Literary Council.

Mark Rader received a Masters of Creative Writing from Cornell University in 2002, where they studied Fiction. Mark obtained their Bachelors of Arts from Tulane University in 1997, with a major in English and Communication and a minor in Studio Art. In October 2022, they obtained a Semrush Academy Certificate in the Content and SEO Playbook Course from Semrush. In September 2020, they were certified in Content Strategy by HubSpot.
