Desiree Nelson

Desiree Nelson is an experienced marketing manager currently at Vytex Windows since July 2020, and also operates Desiree Nelson Yoga as a yoga teacher and owner since August 2015. Previous roles include marketing at SIA Group, Inc. from August 2016 to February 2020, and graphic designer at The Globe from August 2015 to June 2016. At The Globe, Desiree served as the Sports Editor, overseeing the Sports section and handling various responsibilities including writing, editing, layout and design, and social media promotion. Earlier experience includes an internship at Times Union in 2011-2012 and a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from the University at Albany, completed in May 2012.
