Irene Umar

Irene Umar has had a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Irene is currently the CEO & Co-Founder of W3GG since June 2023. Before that, they were a Co-Founder at YGG SEA, which later rebranded into W3GG in June 2023. Irene was also a Managing Partner at Discovery Nusantara Capital, where they focused on investing in the gaming ecosystem and its supporting industries. Prior to that, they co-founded One Indonesia. Irene also worked as a Director at The Golden Space Global Capital Pte Ltd and as a Founder at Loka Padang, an impact-driven F&B company. Additionally, they served as Treasurer at Yayasan Pendidikan Universitas Presiden. Irene started their career at Standard Chartered Bank, working as an Associate Director and Associate in various roles. Irene also briefly worked as an Assistant Manager at Batavia Prosperindo Aset Manajemen and as a Consultant at JAC Indonesia.

Irene Umar completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics at President University from 2005 to 2008.
