Bryce Hix

Bryce Hix is a seasoned professional in urban planning and project management with extensive experience in site development and zoning compliance. Currently serving as a Senior Planner at W&A Engineering since February 2018, Bryce specializes in project management across various sectors, including residential and commercial developments, while providing thorough zoning and land use due diligence in 39 states and the District of Columbia. Prior to this, Bryce held positions as a Long Range Planner and Development Review Planner with Athens-Clarke County from 2007 to 2018, contributing to planning commission reports and overseeing plans review processes. Earlier experience includes work as a GIS Technician at the University of Georgia, where skills in GIS data management were utilized for significant projects, including international mapping initiatives. Bryce holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from The University of Georgia.
