Eric Wu

Eric Wu has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Eric began their career as a Systems Administrator at Kanetix Ltd. in 2005 and worked there until 2011, where they gained experience in various areas such as virtualization, PCI DSS requirements, Linux administration, and system integration. Eric then moved on to become a Team Manager and later Infrastructure Manager at Kanetix Ltd. before being promoted to Sr. Manager and then Director of Infrastructure.

In 2020, Eric joined Northbridge Financial Corporation as the Director of Systems Reliability Engineering and worked there until 2021. At Northbridge, they were responsible for ensuring the reliability and stability of the system infrastructure.

Following their time at Northbridge, Eric joined Gatik in 2021 as the Autonomous Vehicle Infrastructure Lead. Eric was later promoted to Head of Autonomous Vehicle Infrastructure in 2022 and worked in this role until 2023.

Currently, Eric is working at Waabi as a Staff Software Engineer since 2023.

Before their corporate roles, they worked independently as an IT Consultant from 2007 to 2021, providing a range of services to small and medium-sized businesses, including IT support, network setup, website design, and hosting services.

Eric Wu attended Ryerson University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree. Their field of study was Information Technology Management with a focus on Telecom.
