Simon Bill

Simon Bill has a diverse background in electrical engineering, with experience in various industries. Simon is currently working as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Waabi since November 2022. Prior to joining Waabi, they worked at Argo AI as a Hardware Engineer from September 2022 to November 2022, where they focused on cameras and LiDAR for self-driving vehicles. Simon also worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Alcon from March 2021 to September 2022. Before that, they were an Electrical Engineer at Advanced Scientific Concepts LLC from 2015 to 2021, and at Akela Inc. from 2012 to 2015. Simon gained experience in teaching as a Teaching Assistant at UC Santa Barbara from 2011 to 2012. Simon also had an internship at TE Connectivity in 2011, where they worked on high capacity solid-state relays and antenna design. Simon started their career as a Lab Assistant at the Materials Research Laboratory in 2010, and also had an internship at Forvis Technologies Inc from 2009 to 2011, where they supported the production of custom X-Ray Diffraction systems.

Simon Bill attended UC Santa Barbara from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
