Daniel Vujcich

Daniel Vujcich is the Chief Executive Officer of WAAC, an organisation born from queer rights activism and shaped by more than four decades of community-led responses to HIV. They previously held senior roles in government, academia, and the community sector, including managing SiREN at Curtin University, coordinating national research into migrant sexual health, and leading peer-based programs with the Aboriginal Health Council of WA. Their academic background included a DPhil in Population Health and a Master's (First Class) in Development Studies from the University of Oxford, where they studied as a Rhodes Scholar, and First Class Honours degrees in Law and Arts from the University of Western Australia. They authored peer-reviewed publications, secured funding for sexual health initiatives, and contributed to national and state advisory bodies focused on ethics, equity, and evidence translation.
