Bas Bijl

Bas Bijl is an experienced professional with a robust background in earth sciences and project leadership. Currently serving as an Earth Scientist and Senior Project Leader at Waddenvereniging since June 2018, Bas previously held roles such as Program Employee for Lauwerskust and Environmental Manager at KWS Infra. As the owner of B&B de Sokkeraai since January 2002, Bas excels in customer service and wellness offerings. Bas's earlier experience includes Senior Project Leader roles at MUG Ingenieursbureau and Head of Preliminary Archaeological Research at ARCbv. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Physical Geography from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a teaching degree in Geography. Additional training includes an ANVR travel guide certification and a Spanish course at the University of Groningen.
