Alyssa Blackwell

Alyssa Blackwell is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience, currently serving as Accounting Manager at Waggoner Engineering since January 2009 and holding previous positions as Accountant and Accounting Assistant within the same company. In addition to this role, Alyssa is the Owner of Average A, a lifestyle blog focused on DIY hacks, minimalism, budgeting, and spirituality, established in August 2019. Alyssa has also contributed as Treasurer for Capital City Roller Girls Inc. since October 2018 and served as a Staff Accountant at Heritage Properties from August 2015 to June 2017. Currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management at Western Governors University, expected to graduate in December 2024, Alyssa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice/Safety Studies from Mississippi College (2009-2012) and education from Hinds Community College (2012-2015).
