Dan Gumpright

Dan Gumpright has held a variety of roles in the insurance and technology industries since 2007. In 2007, they worked as a Software Engineer at BT, testing early mobile technical innovations. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Software Engineer at Alfa (formerly CHP Consulting), developing Asset Finance software for large banks and software companies. In 2010, they became the Head of Global Insurance Product Management at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, where they were responsible for strategic development and product management for a suite of technical products. In 2018, they became the VP, Head of Insurance Division at Truepic, a leading image verification platform. Dan also consulted part-time as a Project Strategy Director to Lum AI and was invited to be a Commercialization Partner for Tech Launch Arizona in 2019. In 2020, they became a Consultant / Advisor for a stealth start-up for Tenney 110 and a New Venture Lead for a B2C InsureTech mobile application. Dan also founded and ran a new initiative at American Family Insurance to automate claims. In 2017, they started a boutique consulting business, The Insure Techs LLC, and in 2022 they became the Head of Product at Wagmo, Inc.

Dan Gumpright has a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic and Embedded Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Leeds, where they were on the Dean's List. Dan also holds a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in Business Administration from The Open University Business School, obtained between 2013 and 2015. In 2017 and 2018, Dan attended and passed courses in Product Management from Pragmatic Marketing. In October 2018, they were awarded a Pragmatic Marketing Certified - Foundation, Focus and Pricing certification from Pragmatic Marketing. Additionally, in November 2015, they were awarded a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance.
