Zayan Yassin

Zayan Yassin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Zayan is currently working at Wahed as the Vice President of Business Operations since May 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Manager of Business Operations at the same company from July 2021 to May 2022. Before joining Wahed, Zayan worked at Wahed Inc. as the Strategy & Operations Manager for the Asia Pacific region from January 2019 to May 2021. Zayan also has experience working at Blockchain Embassy Asia as a Secretary from December 2016 to February 2019. Zayan served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Neuroware from June 2017 to January 2019. Zayan started their career at ATA PLUS as a Senior Associate from September 2015 to January 2019, where they were involved in various projects such as web portal development, crypto-escrow framework, and equity crowdfunding. Prior to that, Zayan worked at TheiAgroup as an Analyst from March 2014 to July 2015, where they contributed to strategic initiatives and policy development for a university. Zayan also had a short stint as a Liaison Officer at the World Islamic Economic Forum in 2013 and the World Islamic Economic Forum Foundation in 2010. Overall, Zayan has demonstrated expertise in business operations, strategy, marketing, and policy development throughout their career.

Zayan Yassin completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Economic History from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science and Government from the International Islamic University Malaysia between 2007 and 2012.
