Tamara Oki

Tamara Oki is a Sales Development Representative at Waitwhile. Tamara was previously an International Educator in the Teaching Assistant Program in France USA from November 2020 to August 2021. In this role, they taught 7th and 8th grade English to 180 scholars in the Caribbean in a French Ministry of Foreign Affairs program. Tamara was also invited to independently lead instruction in 4 different classrooms based on strong performance and prior experience. Tamara also has experience as a Program Coordinator at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences from November 2019 to March 2020. In this role, they provided 25 faculty members, 5 staff members, and over 700 medical students with enrollment guidance and academic advising support. Tamara also managed the website and led marketing efforts, drafted press releases and program materials, managed course evaluations, and developed new programming on a weekly basis. Tamara has a proven track record of success in coordinating events, with 43 events executed with an 88% average attendance rate. Tamara is known for their ability to make recommendations to existing program policies and for conducting outreach to stakeholders to increase involvement.

Tamara Oki has a Master of Arts from The George Washington University in International and Comparative Education, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania in Tamara'story, African Studies, and French Studies, and coursework in African Studies and Sustainable Development from Kwame Nkrumah'​ University of Science and Technology. Tamara is certified in Sales Certified - Software as a Service Solutions from SV Academy, Interim Elementary Education from the Michigan Department of Education, and Certification for Academic Coaches from the National Tutoring Association.
