Waiwai Rio is a company based out of 121 R. Maria Quitéria - Sala 103 - Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Its essence is carioca, with bossa that comes from the foot in the sand and such. Its magnetism, essentially tropical. The focus is the roots. No wonder its name derives from the indigenous languages of Brazil. It's about Brazil.

Waiwai Rio was born in 2015 by the hands of designer Leo Neves – a handcrafted bag brand that extols the charms of its homeland with a fun twist. He himself is an eternal boy from Rio, a born esthete who strengthened this verve with a strong work as a stylist, in addition to years of design assistance for strong names in the Rio scene.

Adept at slow fashion, Waiwai favors national production. 

Its precious manufacturing processes culminate in design accessories that are the translation of a contemporary Brazil, mixing rustic raw materials with cutting-edge ones. 

The result are pieces of wood and straw with interferences of leather, silk, acrylic and metal.
