Brandy Hamilton

Brandy Hamilton is a seasoned library professional with extensive experience in various roles within the library sector. Currently serving as the Regional Library Manager for East Regional Library at Wake County since November 2001, responsibilities include overseeing a 22,000 square foot facility and managing programs, services, and community relations. Prior to this role, Brandy was the Readers' Services Manager, supervising daily operations and the Readers' Services Department, and also served as an Information Services Librarian, where duties involved conducting reference and readers' advisory interviews and programming for adults. Brandy began the library career as a Library Assistant at Lexington Public Library from January 1997 to 1999. Academic qualifications include a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of South Carolina - Coastal Carolina.
