Chris Snow

Chris Snow has over three decades of experience in the parks and recreation field, currently serving as the Director of Parks, Recreation & Open Space for Wake County since May 1992. This role follows previous positions as Park Manager and Assistant Park Manager within the same organization. Prior experience includes working as a Park Ranger with NC State Parks from June 1990 to May 1992. Chris Snow holds a Master of Science in Parks, Recreation & Tourism Management from North Carolina State University, earned between 2001 and 2005, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Resources Administration from the same institution, completed from 1984 to 1989.
