Darshan Patel has a diverse work experience in the field of emergency management and crisis communications. Darshan began their career as a Firefighter/EMT at Swift Creek Fire Department from 2005 to 2009. Darshan then worked as an Emergency Management Coordinator at Orange County Government from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they also served as a Lead EMS Instructor at Durham Technical Community College from 2008 to 2013.
