Mike Ranck

Mike Ranck, PG, currently serves as the Groundwater Program Manager for Wake County after previously holding various roles within the groundwater and environmental sectors. With significant experience as a Branch Head at the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Mike managed the Groundwater Management Branch and oversaw a comprehensive monitoring network. Prior positions include senior roles at AECOM as a Project Manager and Hydrogeologist, where Mike managed site assessments and remediation projects, and served as a Section Chief handling groundwater resources and water quality operations. Additional experience includes tenure as a Park Ranger for the National Park Service and a Senior Hydrogeologist at Fishbeck. Mike holds a Master of Science in Hydrology from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
