Thomas Ray serves as the Associate Executive Director and Senior Director of Educational Programming at the Poe Center for Health Education, leading a team of health educators to enhance health science education across North Carolina. With extensive experience in human services, Ray has held the position of Program Specialist in 4-H Youth Development at Wake County Human Services, and previously taught mathematics at DeVry University and Wake County Public Schools. Additional roles include leadership positions in various educational initiatives and non-profit organizations. Ray holds a PhD in Educational Research and Policy Analysis from North Carolina State University and a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Marshall University.
