Will Ammons currently serves as the Assistant Park Manager for Agriculture at Beech Bluff County Park in Wake County since March 2024, focusing on developing an agricultural component and managing public programs related to gardening. Prior to this role, Ammons worked for the Town of Cary for over 18 years, holding various positions, including Lead Landscaper, where responsibilities included designing and maintaining landscapes for multiple parks, and Lead Volunteer at the Senior Center Community Garden, enhancing community resources for senior gardeners. Additional experience includes serving as Director of the Therapeutic Gardening Program at Three Springs of NC and holding a position on the Board of Directors for the Carolinas Chapter of AHTA. Ammons holds a BA in Recreation Administration with a minor in Biology from Mars Hill University.
