Shailesh Kumar

Shailesh Kumar is a seasoned professional with a background in mechanical engineering and extensive experience in category management and data analysis. Currently serving as Category Manager (Entrepreneur In Residence) at Wakefit since November 2020, Shailesh oversees the Home Décor and Lighting category with full responsibility for P&L management, reporting directly to the Founder – CEO. Prior experience includes a role at Bosch India as TMT, where Shailesh developed analytical templates for vehicle dynamometer data, and a brief internship with Bosch Ltd focused on improving vehicle fuel efficiency and emission compliance. Additionally, Shailesh gained hands-on experience in vehicle repairs during an internship at 510 Army Base Workshop. Shailesh completed a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka in 2019.
