Casey Gardner

Casey Gardner, ASA, currently serves as a Consulting Actuary at Wakely Consulting Group since September 2019, where responsibilities include aiding health plans and the federal government in understanding COVID-19 impacts, co-leading the Pharmacy Strategic Initiative, and developing new products for business growth. Previously, Casey held the position of Associate Actuary at Wakely Consulting Group, creating a Part D Trend model used in over 600 Medicare bids and assisting in strategic decision-making for the Part D Senior Savings Model. Prior experience includes roles as an Actuarial Analyst at UnitedHealthcare, where a claim-level pricing model was built for extensive claim data, and as an Associate Actuarial Analyst at Optum, contributing to Medicare Advantage and Part D bids. Casey's early career included an actuarial internship at Allianz Life and a role as Assistant Aquatics Coordinator for the City of Bloomington, MN. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing and Music from Concordia College and a GIS Certificate from the University of Southern California.
