David Amar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles.
David began their career as a Stagiaire at Utrema in 2010, where they developed a monitoring tool for a multimedia system using Java on a Linux platform.
In 2011, David interned at the National Institute of Informatics, where they were involved in implementing the Java NIO library for Java PathFinder, an application for model checking. This internship was cut short due to the Fukushima events.
Later in 2011, David joined Akka Technologies and held various positions, including Ingénieur Logiciel Vol and Responsable développement logiciel vol, where they worked on satellite programs such as O3B, SB4000, and Alphabus. David also completed a Stagiaire role as part of their final year project, focusing on unit testing for the flight software.
From 2015 to 2018, David worked at Systerel as a Lead Software Developer, contributing to the development of software solutions.
In 2018, they participated in a hackathon organized by CodinGame called Legends of Code and Magic, where they ranked 30th out of 2174 participants. David worked on developing an artificial intelligence for a card game inspired by Hearthstone, using technologies such as Rust, Git, Java, Maven, Monte-Carlo search tree, and Ant Colony Optimization.
Most recently, David Amar is working at Wakeo as a Senior Backend Developer, starting in January 2019.
David Amar attended Grenoble INP - UGA from 2006 to 2010, where they pursued a Master's degree in Ingénierie des télécommunications.
