About WAKO: WAKO IF and WAKO Team USA Kickboxing are sanctioning bodies for World, Continental and National Championships. WAKO Team USA Kickboxing is a registered organization in the state of Illinois and has the status of a tax-exempt, 501(C)(3), nonprofit organization. WAKO is the only kickboxing organization that is accepted as a full sport for 2021 World Games and WAKO is the only kickboxing organization in the world to have an application accepted by the IOC (International Olympic Committee).
WAKO USA assists event promoters by sanctioning their amateur kickboxing events as well as professional kickboxing events in association with WAKO PRO. WAKO USA sanctions events in all seven rules styles.
