Brian McAuliffe

Brian McAuliffe currently serves as the Liaison Officer for ISO/IEC JTC 1 to the European Commission, focusing on fostering connections between international IT standardization and European policy in areas such as AI, cybersecurity, and data governance. With extensive experience in standardization, Brian holds roles including Technology Standards Expert at ISO, Director of Industry Standards at HP, and member of the IEEE Standards Association Corporate Advisory Group. Previous positions include Commercial Director at Compliance Engineering Ireland Ltd and Regulatory Compliance Manager at Tellabs Ltd. Brian's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Health Informatics from the University of Limerick, where graduated with First Class Honours. Various committee roles within national and international standards organizations further highlight Brian's commitment to advancing industry standards.
