Robin Townsend is currently a Submarine Rules Project Manager at Lloyd's Register Marine and has been with the organization since 2014. They serve as Chairman of the ISO TC8 SC1 subcommittee on Life Saving and Fire Protection and have been a Project Leader at ISO 28007 Private Marine Security Companies since 2012. Previously, Robin held the role of associate and founding member at the International Ship Recycling Association from 2007 to 2010 and worked as a Surveyor at Lloyd's Register from 1990 to 2011. Robin earned a BEng(hons) in Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding from Newcastle University between 1988 and 1990.
