Stefanie Bierwirth currently serves as Committee Manager for ISO/TC 61/SC 14 Environmental Aspects and as Secretary for ISO/TC 61/SC 14/WG 4 Characterization of plastics leaked into the environment at the ISO - International Organization for Standardization since March 2019. In addition, Stefanie has held the position of Secretary for both CEN/TC 249/WG 11 Plastics recycling and CEN/TC 249/WG 24 Environmental aspects since the same date. Since February 2025, Stefanie has also worked as a Project Coordinator at DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e. V. Stefanie holds a Diplom degree from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, earned between 2005 and 2012.
