Sylvie Cupferman is an accomplished International Manager of Microbiology at L'Oréal and a Research Fellow with extensive expertise in cosmetic microbiology and standardization. From 1998 to 2008, they managed microbiology efforts at L'Oréal, developing methods for product preservation and implementing Good Laboratory Practices. Sylvie currently serves as the President of the S91K Cosmetics Commission and Convenor of ISO TC 217 WG1, where they facilitate discussions and ensure adherence to standards in cosmetic microbiology. They hold a Master's degree from Université Pierre et Marie Curie and a Ph.D. from Descartes University.
