Thomas Geis is the Managing Director and Principal Consultant of Human-centered Artificial Intelligence at ProContext Consulting GmbH and serves as the Chief Operating Officer at ProContext Inc. Since 1994, Thomas has been a member and convenor of various ISO Working Groups focused on information and interaction design, contributing to key standards in software ergonomics and human-centered design processes. Additionally, Thomas chairs the International Usability and User Experience Qualification Board, overseeing the development of certified training syllabi. Thomas has also held a significant role at TUV Rheinland Group as a User Requirements Engineer and Usability Tester from 1993 to 2003, and continues to influence design standards through DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung. Thomas earned a degree from the University of Sunderland from 1988 to 1991.
