William MacKay

William MacKay is the President and Owner of MacKay Emergency Management Consulting Inc., where they assist both public and private sector clients in developing, evaluating, and improving cost-effective emergency management and business continuity programs. Previously, they held various positions at Imperial Oil for nearly three decades, culminating as an Advisor in Emergency Response, and played a key role in the founding of the Imperial Oil National Emergency Team. Currently, they serve as a Technical Expert with ISO, where they contribute to guidelines on social media usage in emergency management. William also collaborates with IGLOO Software to enhance online communities focused on emergency management and business continuity applications. Their educational background includes a BBA in Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick.
