Young-Jun MOON is currently a Board Member of the Technical Management Board at ISO and an Invited Professor at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. They served as the Chief Director for ITS R&D at the Korea Transport Institute from 1999 to 2023 and conducted research at the Agency for Defence Development from 1987 to 1992. Young-Jun holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, which they completed in 1998. Additionally, they are the Convenor of ISO/TC204 WG17.
