Christopher Schmitt, CPD, MSOD, is a seasoned leadership advisor, executive coach, and facilitator with extensive experience in building high-performing teams. A U.S. Army Special Forces veteran, Schmitt commanded multiple units and directed operations in various global contexts, including Afghanistan and Africa. After transitioning from the military, Schmitt founded Azimuth Consulting Group, focusing on leadership development, team-building, and outdoor expeditions. Currently, as a Senior Consultant at Waldron, Schmitt partners with clients to enhance leadership and organizational culture, driven by a passion for nurturing genuine leadership. Schmitt holds a Master’s degree in Organization Development from Central Washington University and a Bachelor's from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
