Niclas Jern

Niclas Jern is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and data services, currently serving as SVP at Walkbase, a STRATACACHE company, since November 2010. Niclas oversees the technology and data strategy, leading engineering teams and managing the technology roadmap. Prior roles at Walkbase included VP of Engineering & Research and Co-founder, where Niclas contributed to pioneering location analytics and marketing solutions for retailers and airports. Additionally, Niclas has served as a guest lecturer at Åbo Akademi University, teaching courses on mobile development, and has experience as a software engineer at Tribeflame oy and as a student liaison for Tekniikan Akateemisten Liitto. Niclas holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Åbo Akademi University and completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Vasa Övningsskola.
