Heart-related death is a significant public health concern and a global leading cause of death. In the US cardiac arrest claims more than 300,000 lives annually. About 47% of sudden cardiac deaths occur outside a hospital. This suggests that many people with heart disease don’t act on early warning signs. Early predictions and out-of-hospital monitoring tools remain dismal. Our Solution is RESTful AI-powered analytics and alerting platform capable of accurately predicting heart issues based on Electrocardiogram (ECG) reads. Walkky analyzes ECG and builds a personal profile of the patient that is then used to detect, predict and alert of significant cardiac events and any abnormal or declining functions that deviate from the personal heart health of the patient. Our product is designed to provide immediate actionable analysis to the patient or the medical provider and therefore, reduce the time to provider intervention and substantially increase the patient’s quality of life. Our Technology is based on a novel method of bio-signal processing that we call Bio-Semantics™. Bio-Semantics™ principles are inspired from the field of natural language processing and semantic networks in the computer science discipline and brought into the medical data analysis arena. The essence of Bio Semantics™ is understanding the biological language of the heart in order to better diagnose and predict heart issues.
