Amber Schultz

Amber Schultz is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in crime, justice, and investigative reporting. Currently serving as a Crime and Justice Reporter at The Sydney Morning Herald since February 2023, Amber previously held roles as an Associate Editor and Investigative Reporter at Crikey. Additional experiences include lecturing in journalism at Macleay College, producing news content at Nine Entertainment Co., and co-founding the news talk show The Struggle. Amber's journalism career also encompasses freelance writing for respected platforms like the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and The Age, along with various editorial positions in student publications. Amber's academic background includes a Master's degree in Journalism and International Relations from Monash University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from University College Maastricht.
