Chris Harrison is an experienced media professional currently serving as Content Director and Opinion Editor at The Sydney Morning Herald since July 2022. Previously, Chris held positions as National Property Editor at Nine and Head of Digital Media at The Project. Chris has a rich background in editing and journalism, with roles at Network 10, The Huffington Post, and News Corp Australia, among others. As a journalist and author, Chris achieved international recognition with the travel memoir "Head Over Heel," which won a Victorian Premier’s Literary Award and reached number one on Amazon. Chris also authored "Happy Eva After," published by Allen & Unwin. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and English Literature from Macquarie University.
