Eryk Bagshaw

Eryk Bagshaw is an experienced investigative journalist at The Sydney Morning Herald since April 2014, holding multiple roles including North Asia correspondent, economics correspondent, federal political reporter, education reporter, and reporter. Prior experience includes serving as Director for the Chippo Film Festival from January 2012 to August 2020, Associate Producer at CBN Media from August 2013 to March 2014, and various roles at Nine News and freelancing as a director, producer, and videographer between May 2009 and November 2012. Eryk Bagshaw also has a background in publicity from the Sydney Film Festival in 2012. Academically, Eryk Bagshaw earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney and completed a Journalism degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
