Michael Ruffles

Michael Ruffles has extensive experience in journalism and editorial roles, currently serving as Deputy State Topic Editor at The Sydney Morning Herald since January 2017. Prior to this position, Michael held the roles of Journalist and Chief Sub-editor. Michael's career includes a tenure at Post Publishing in Bangkok from June 2012 to January 2017 as a Sub-editor, and at Fairfax Media from March 2011 to June 2012 also as a Sub-editor. Earlier experience includes work as a Journalist at The Canberra Times from September 2006 to October 2010 and as a Reporter/Sub-editor at The Courier in Ballarat from June 2003 to September 2006.
