Boaz Efrat has a strong background in journalism with experience in various news organizations. Boaz began their career as a Military Correspondent and News Editor for the IDF Official Magazine, "Bamahane," from 2014 to 2016. Boaz then worked as a Broadcast Producer and News Editor for Galei Tzahal in 2017. Following this, they joined Haaretz as a News Editor from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, Boaz became a Health Correspondent and Center Region Correspondent for Walla! NEWS until 2020, where they played a crucial role in covering the COVID-19 crisis and conducting interviews with government officials. Boaz later joined ynet as a News Editor from 2021 to 2021 before returning to Walla! as the Head of News Desk in 2022.
Boaz Efrat pursued their education in multiple institutions. From 2020 to 2023, they attended The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Psychology with a specialization in Human Resource Management. Prior to that, in 2013, Boaz briefly studied Middle Eastern Studies at Nehalim High School.
