Luke Kanies

Luke Kanies is a seasoned technology entrepreneur with extensive experience in leadership and strategy. Currently serving as an advisor at Wallaroo Labs since May 2017, Kanies has previously founded Puppet, where Kanies held the roles of CEO and executive chairperson from March 2005 to April 2022, emphasizing the essential role of software in business competitiveness. Kanies also founded Clickety, serving as CEO from April 2019 to October 2021, and has been involved with multiple organizations in advisory and board capacities, including Sensu, Inc., GitLab, Inc., and the Technology Association of Oregon. Kanies holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Reed College, earned after attending Northland College.
