Xavier Balmes

Xavier Balmes is an experienced embedded software professional with a strong background in leading software development for energy solutions. Since August 2019, Xavier has served as Embedded Software Tech Lead and Tech PO at Wallbox Chargers, overseeing the technical aspects of the Bidirectional Energy Business Unit, including the development of the Quasar 2 and its integrations with various protocols. Previous roles include Senior Software Technical Lead at Wallbox and Principal Firmware, Hardware and Security Engineer at JCM Technologies, where Xavier managed cybersecurity initiatives. With a diverse educational background including master's degrees in Cybersecurity and Project Management, as well as extensive experience in hardware design and firmware development, Xavier brings a comprehensive skill set to the field of embedded systems and energy management.
