Xavier Madurell

Xavier Madurell is currently the International Payroll & People Specialist at Wallbox. Xavier has over 7 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on international HR, payroll, and compliance.

Xavier started their career in HR at Grupo Hotusa in 2014, where they were an HR technician. Xavier was responsible for employee relations, drafting HR policy forms and reports, coordinating training and development courses for employees, and managing health & safety compliance. In 2018, they were promoted to International HR Coordinator, where they were responsible for managing the international mobility of employees, overseeing hotel openings in different countries, and monitoring labor lawsuits abroad.

In 2020, Xavier left Grupo Hotusa to join Amazon as an HR Associate Partner. Xavier supported Amazon employees with a wide range of HR topics, from benefits and leave to performance management and diversity & inclusion.

In February 2021, Xavier joined Wallbox as the International Payroll & People Specialist. In this role, they are responsible for managing payroll and benefits for Wallbox employees in multiple countries.

Xavier Madurell has a MSc in Human Resource Management from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and a degree in labor relations from Universitat Pompeu Fabra - Barcelona.
