Waller Legal is a small but high profile legal practice dedicated to supporting victims of crime, particularly those who have been sexually assaulted. The practice runs common law claims in the County and Supreme Courts of Victoria, does work in the Victims of Crime Tribunal and makes Sentencing Act Applications for compensation on behalf of clients who have been sexually or physically assaulted. Much of our work also involves alternative dispute resolution. More recently, Waller Legal has represented many clients through public hearings at the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. Headed by our Principal Dr Vivian Waller, the practice represents hundreds of people who have been subjected to physical and sexual assault at the hands of Catholic Clergy.
