John Oke is an accomplished entrepreneur and technology leader with extensive experience in financial technology and software engineering. As the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Spring in Africa since October 2016, John has successfully built Spring, Wallets Company, and Wallets Global. Previously, John served as Founder and CEO, focusing on fundraising and investment initiatives, including the development of Wallet. In addition, John founded and chaired Resistance Capital from August 2022 to April 2024 and worked as a Software Engineer at ALAT by Wema and SureGifts. Educational background includes participation in prestigious programs at A16z Crypto Startup School and Y Combinator, along with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Ilorin.
