Tom Baer

Tom Baer is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in management roles within Walmart. As a Senior Manager II at Walmart Data Ventures since June 2022, Tom leads security, controls, and data frameworks. Previously, at Walmart Global Tech from March 2019 to June 2022, Tom managed complex Workday functional projects, developed internal control frameworks, and collaborated with audit teams to ensure data integrity. Earlier positions included leading IT audits, managing global system enhancements, and facilitating SAP solutions within Walmart's Accounts Payable and Specialty Tax departments. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Metro State University.
