Alex Schenck

Alex Schenck has a diverse work experience, with roles in various companies and organizations. Most recently, they worked at Walmart as the Director of Global Public Policy for Environment and Sustainability starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Manager of Environmental Policy for North America at PepsiCo from 2019 to 2022. In 2018, they worked as an Associate at Husch Blackwell Strategies. From 2015 to 2018, they served as a Legislative Aide for Senator Dan Sullivan in the United States Senate, specifically focusing on the Commerce, Science, and Transportation Subcommittee. Their earlier experience includes working as a Government Relations Associate and a Communications Associate at the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership from 2013 to 2015.

Alex Schenck earned a Bachelor's degree in History and English from High Point University between the years 2008 and 2011. In 2016, Alex pursued a Master's degree in Applied Political Science at American University, which they successfully completed in 2017. The following year, they enrolled at the Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies to further enhance their expertise in Advocacy Campaign Management and Strategic Communications, where they were recognized as a Benefactors' Award winner and a Graduate of the Public Affairs and Advocacy Institute.
