Baxter Gonzalez

Baxter Gonzalez serves as the Mechanical Team Lead and upcoming project lead for the USDA Funded Agribot research team at Texas State University, focusing on the development of an autonomous agricultural robot for cattle monitoring. Previous experience includes roles as Project Manager and Principal Investigator at NASA, where Gonzalez led projects within the NASA L'SPACE NPWEE program and completed engineering projects at the Astrobee facility. A background in automation was developed through internships at Walmart, where optimization projects for distribution centers were executed. Gonzalez holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Austin Community College and is currently pursuing further studies at Texas State University.
