Dave Lyman

Dave Lyman has over 29 years of extensive experience in logistics, sourcing, and procurement within the transportation industry. Most recently, Lyman served as Director of Sourcing and Procurement at Walmart from January 2015 to August 2022, where responsibilities included managing all procurement activities for international ocean freight and overseeing significant contract negotiations across multiple states while managing an annual transportation budget of $4B-$5B. Prior roles include Director of EQC and Space Control at NYK Line, where oversight was provided for North America export vessel and equipment utilization, as well as roles in sales and operations management. Lyman's career also includes positions at DSL and J.B. Hunt Transport Services, where logistics and fleet management were key focuses. Education credentials include a Master of Science in Intermodal Transportation from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Arts from Tabor College.
