Diego Marquez

Diego Marquez is an experienced international trade counsel currently serving as Vice President and Chief Counsel for Global Trade and Sanctions at Walmart, where they lead the global sanctions and export controls compliance program. They previously held various senior legal positions at GE, leading their sanctions compliance initiatives and providing extensive guidance on international trade matters. With a solid foundation in legal education from Georgetown University Law Center, Diego has a demonstrated history of compliance leadership, advocacy, and navigating complex regulatory environments. Earlier in their career, Diego also worked as a Senior Associate at Alston & Bird, advising clients on legislative and regulatory issues.
