Dries D'Hooghe

Dries D'Hooghe is a seasoned retail executive with over 20 years of experience driving operational turnarounds, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Walmart Africa. Prior to this role, D'Hooghe held numerous significant positions, including Chief Operations Officer at Walmart Canada, where they led the operations of 408 stores generating $28 billion in annual revenue. They also contributed to the successful merger of Ahold and Delhaize, achieving 90% of synergy targets within 18 months.
