Eddie Tutt has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Eddie began their career in 1986 at Wal-Mart Stores US Division, where they held the position of Buyer/Sr. Buyer. In this role, they successfully managed various responsibilities such as Sporting Goods, Camping, Hunting, Lawn and Garden, and Movies. Eddie was known for their strong negotiation skills and ability to introduce numerous merchandise initiatives.

Eddie then transitioned to the role of Vice-President of Merchandising at Wal-Mart, where they were responsible for diverse industries including entertainment and movies, Seasonal and Celebrations, Office Supplies, Crafts & Fabric, and Books and Magazines. Eddie consistently delivered annual market share growth and improved business results. Additionally, they focused on people and talent development and recruitment.

In 2014, Eddie founded their own retail consulting company, 3 sTrands Retail Consulting, where they assumed the role of President. Overall, Eddie Tutt has demonstrated expertise in leadership, merchandising, and business development throughout their career.

Eddie Tutt began their education at Oklahoma State University in 1978, where they pursued a degree in Business. Eddie later transferred to the University of Oklahoma in 1979 and completed a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Marketing in 1980.
